Many authors are asking the question, “How long does it take for Facebook to approve my picture?”
It takes about 2-3 days for facebook’s review process.
This is a lot faster than most of us would have guessed.
The reason that there is such a quick turnaround time with pictures on Facebook is because they don’t want people to be posting inappropriate photos or anything else that might get them in trouble with the law.
Why is Facebook verifying my photo?
For those of you who are authors, I have a question for you. Why is Facebook verifying my photo?
I was scrolling through Facebook one day and all the sudden it started telling me that some of my photos were not verified.
It’s been a little over a year since I last logged into my account so this came as quite the surprise to me. All these weird messages about how they’re gonna delete my account if I don’t verify them by clicking on “here” in order to help them understand what’s going on with it.
So why does Facebook need to verify your photos? It sounds like something from an episode of Black Mirror…
- Because you’re special, and everyone should know it.
- They want to make sure it’s really you.
- Facebook requires that you verify your photo in order to protect the people on Facebook from bots.
